WOW! Women’s Centre is a big lottery funded project. “At WOW we support and empower each other and offer a safe space for women, girls and young children. We are a project run by the charity Wight DASH (formerly the Island Women’s Refuge). We offer drop in sessions where we can offer support (if wanted) with a variety of tasks such as form filling, making telephone calls, writing CVs and letters among other things. We have computers and telephones that can be used for free. Various taster sessions of different activities have started at WOW including NLP, bread & pizza making and arts and crafts.”
